Moving at Half Speed

As the first day of school approaches next week, we know many of our Looking Glass families are in that in-between space — where holiday energy is still lingering, but routines are whispering their way back in.

This week, we just want to say: breathe.

Transitions take time. Especially for our neurodivergent children. Especially for you.
💛 Schedules may shift slowly.
💛 Moods may wobble.
💛 Sleep may be off.
💛 Sensory systems may need extra gentleness.

And all of that… is expected. It’s human. It’s okay.
If you’re feeling the tension between “getting ready” and “not quite ready,” you’re not alone. We're here with tools, reminders, and care to help ease the return to school — one step at a time.

🌟 This month we’ll be sharing:
Transition tips for sensory-sensitive kids
Morning routine visuals
Meal + sleep schedule reminders
Nervous system reset activities for families
Let’s move into 2026 with presence, not pressure.
We’re walking with you.
